The objective of the project is to contribute to the development of EU policy regarding the accessibility of the transport systems in the 25 member states, including future member states and applicant countries, in order to promote social integration and active participation in society of people with disabilities. The mains goals of the EURO-ACCESS project are: - To establish an inventory as exhaustive as possible of current legal frameworks and regulations concerning public transport in the EU, including future member states and applicant countries - To highlight the best practice in the EU regarding national policies, technical innovation, services provided and their potential correlations with the employment of people with disabilities. - To propose recommendation for a common legal framework in the EU regarding the accessibility of transport systems
